What CommonQuant is building

CommonQuant is an attempt to make quantitative thinking usable without turning it into an institution-only ritual. The product is in beta; the goal is simple: ask good questions, get analyses you can trust, and see the assumptions.

Analysis you can audit

Outputs should show sources, parameters, and constraints. If you can’t tell what a result depends on, it’s not useful.

Fast iteration loop

The interface is designed around repeated questioning. Small changes in assumptions should be cheap to test.

Market-wide + portfolio views

Single assets matter, but portfolios are where risk lives. We want both, with clear decomposition.

Educational by default

The product should teach you what it’s doing as you use it — not via docs you’ll never read.
